Fight against climate change during the PEFMED days in Madrid

FIAB met on March 18 at the headquarters of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE) to discuss the PEF method of the European PEFMED project with the stakeholders involved.

The conference “Analysis of life cycle in the Food Industry, PEF Methodology – PEFMED” saw the participation of all the stakeholders involved in the project such as experts in Life Cycle Analysis, RIS3 representatives (Smart Innovation Strategy) from Andalusia and Catalonia, industry experts in environment and sustainability, including the director of Competitiveness and Sustainability of FIAB, Paloma Sánchez. During the meeting the issues of consumer acceptance of products with environmental label, opinions on the PEF Methodology of the Commission or knowing the future actions of companies in relation to sustainable development, have been discussed.
